Arizona State University Student Qualifies as “Campus Man” to Promote Modeling Career

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) December 9, 2009

An Arizona State University student is the latest to qualify to become a “Campus Man” on CampusMen.com – a website college students use to promote their careers by gathering supporters.

Ryan Maciorski, 19, a Sophomore at ASU, qualified as a Campus Man by telling his ASU friends to visit CampusMen.com to register as his “Fans.”

On becoming a “Campus Man,” a designation that allows college students to gather “Fans” on CampusMen.com, Maciorski said, “My friends think it is very cool that I am trying for this. Some of them are jealous and say that it is dumb. Most of my friends just want me to make it big time.”

Maciorski hopes to use his CampusMen.com status as a professional way to get started as an underwear model.

About Maciorski, Vicky Phipps of CampusMen.com says, “Ryan is unique because he understands the value of actively promoting himself.” She added, “Ryan set out to get his modeling career started and we hope being a Campus Man is a smart first step for his career.”

Although Maciorski wants to become an underwear model, CampusMen.com offers any college student – regardless of his hobby or career interest – a free way to organize a fan club.

Maciorski’s next step? To build up a Fanbase of 500 Fans.

Background on Maciorski

Physically, Maciorski is an imposing hunk. With 17-inch biceps and standing 6 foot tall, he has a ton of potential as an underwear model as well as the physical presence to be impressive at in-person events.

Maciorski, a native of Livermore, California, is consistently on ASU’s dean’s list and is known among his Arizona State University friends as an avid weightlifter. Maciorski started lifting weights at age 17 and has increased his muscle size from 150 pounds to 185 pounds.

Macioski was captain of his high school’s baseball and basketball teams, but it was his basketball coach who got him interested in bodybuilding.

“I used to be very skinny in high school and my basketball coach got me interested in working out and I have loved it ever since,” Maciorski said.

His first stint at being seen in underwear was in his dorm when girls photographed him. When girls began viewing the snapshots, they told him he should pursue an underwear modeling career.

“I always thought about being an underwear model but never thought I could do it,” Maciorski said. “Then once I started workout out, a lot of my friends said I should try for it. So I got very determined, started eating healthy, and also working out all the time.”

Maciorski has never been professionally photographed.

“I expect it to be very nerve wracking. I feel like you must look perfect all the time, but I bet modeling in underwear can be very fun also,” Maciorski said.

“My dream would be to become a well known underwear model. I want people to see me and be like, ‘Oh, are you that guy?’ I think it would be very cool for everyone to look up to me and want to ask me advice on how they could look this way,” Maciorski said.

Maciorski’s favorite style of underwear? Hanes Boxer Briefs.
