Hair Systems of Long Island Hosts Women’s Hair Loss Seminar At Two Locations

An informative Women’s Hair Loss Seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10th, and Wednesday, March 11th, 2015 at local hair studios in Long Island. Kayla Martell, former Miss America Finalist, will be guest speaker.

Kayla is speaking out, bringing focus to women’s hair loss and education on what are the causes and newest solutions now available to women. New technology has made possible advancements in treatment for hair loss. Most women do not know where to go or who to trust. For this reason, Kayla is touring the US and sharing her own experience of losing her hair at age 11 due to Alopecia. She competed in Miss Delaware bald, but quickly learned from a judge who advised that she needs hair to pin on the crown. Years later, having found her solution, Kayla competed and won Miss Delaware 2010. She went on to be a top finalist in Miss America pageant in 2011.

Additional speaker will be Rhonda McCarthy, national-renowned hair loss expert from Ft Lauderdale, FL. “So many women do not understand what is happening to them, often blaming themselves for their hairloss, and as a result get depressed and often drop out of life socially”, says Rhonda. “Our role is to connect women to local studios within their geographic area. We seek the most reputable hair loss studios that offer multiple solutions and they must qualify to our standards before being approved to be included in the Women’s Hair Loss Seminars. We’re excited to be coming to Hair Systems of Long Island, a superb studio group that we have worked with for years!”

These seminars are being hosted by Hair Systems of Long Island on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Levittown and on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Commack. “Women lose their hair for so many more reasons than men” says Donna Emerson, manager of Commack, “Knowing what’s causing your hair loss is the first step to finding a solution.”
