For example, the Roman sandals he designed were often appeared in the movies, including the classic “Ten Commandments”. Between the late of 40s and 50s, the Italian fashion developed rapidly. The production capacity of Ferragamo’s factory could up to three hundred and fifty pairs of shoes every day.

Many celebrities of film and television, such as Greta Garbo, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia loren, Eva veron and Marilyn Monroe all scrambled for the shoes that designed by Ferragamo. Even there was a rumour saying that Garbo once ordered 70 pairs of shoes by one time. In order to make shoes more comfortable, Ferragamo studied sole structure in the university of California. In the university, he learned the knowledge of the weight of the body how to pressure from the sole of the foot. So he worked out the shoes that added iron to strengthen shoes’ bearing.
